5 Qualities of a Successful Affiliate Marketer
More and more people these days are turning to one of the most popular businesses around on the Internet called affiliate marketing. In this business, there are no bosses or people to tell you about deadlines to meet or piles of work that have to be finished by the end of the day. In order to become successful you only need certain qualities to become a good affiliate marketer.
There are basically five things you can't do without if you want to make it in the world of affiliate marketing. Below, you'll find each quality you'll need.
Just a quick note: There are more than 5 but these are the ones that will help the most.
1. Desire to learn
The first quality you must possess is the desire to learn the willingness to be trained. Treading through unfamiliar territory is tough indeed, especially if you are lacking the right knowledge. This is a combination of the right frame of mind, coupled with a strong work ethic will help you overcome 95% of the problems most internet marketers goes through right now.
To be able to make money quickly in affiliate marketing you must be willing to learn from someone else. It is like the old saying why re-invent the wheel when some one has already created it. (something like that) So you'll need to be willing to keep your eyes and ears open, using the experience of others to learn more as you go will quickly accelerate your success in affiliate marketing
2. Discipline
The quality of discipline holds true for Internet marketers of all kinds and also in life. Affiliate Marketers need to be able to discipline themselves, as this is a business and not a hobby if they would like to make any type of real money.
I have seen many people, including myself, think that since this is the next hottest program in affiliate marketing that it will be the one to make the fast money. The only thing that is going to make you fast money is the disciplines you put on yourself and your business everyday.
3. Optimism
The last quality you must have is optimism. Having a negative attitude towards your business or yourself will be one of the quickest things that will defeat you in affiliate marketing.
Bad attitudes should never discourage an affiliate marketer from pursuing their dreams in order to make life better for themselves or anyone around them.
The attitude you have towards the business should always be good, because you'll have to realize that you're the captain of your ship and your the one steering it towards destiny.
4. Determination
Another great quality of an affiliate marketer is determination. You must be able to have the ability to push yourself when the going gets tough. This holds true for any part of Internet Marketing you would like to work in.

If you have the power and strength not to give up and if you fail to keep on trying then that determination will pay off.
5. Invest time and effort
The 5th quality you must have is the willingness to invest time and effort in helping your business grow. This has to deal with what I call the law of momentum. If you think about it a person or object uses the most energy or power when first starting. Sometimes you do not see the immediate results but that do not mean nothing is working.
If you put the above tips to good use, you'll go farther than you ever thought possible in the world of affiliate marketing. You'll need these qualities to succeed, as affiliate marketing can be a cutting edge career. With the above qualities, you'll do just fine in the industry.

Get Your Blog Seen With These Tools
I often get a couple of emails a week asking me how can someone get there blog listed in the different search engines and directories. I thought about it for a second and then started to track a couple of things that I do to get my post listed in some of the top directories and search engines. So hopefully this article will help you get your blog seen with the tools I am about to show you.
Before I go into a lot of details one of the main methods in getting your blog seen is with a tool everyone uses called Ping. Pinging is like sending out a message to certain website saying 'come take a look at my blog please.' So instead of sending pings out to different websites, one by one, a couple of websites will send it to many of the search engines and directories very quickly.
One of my favorite tools that I have been using for some time now is Ping-O-Matic. This website lets you ping roughly 20 different sites. The one thing that I like about this tool is that it is quick and very easy to use. All you have to do is put in your website URL, the title of your blog, and click which sites to send the ping to and that is it. All of this happens in less than 2 minutes.
Another tool I just found out about that does what Ping-O-Matic does but pings about 80 different sites is called Pingler. This is also a another quick tool that you can get your blog or website seen by other directories and search engines. It works the same as the other blogging tool as above.
Another method that I have not taken advantage of yet but I have spoken to other bloggers who swear by it is by submitting your information to Digg, Del.icio.us and Stubleupon.
The last tool I use is by far the best if you have a great following on them and that is Facebook and Twitter. These two tools I use a lot to get my blog out there.

Anthony Robbins - Unleash The Power Within - Are you Going?
Hey I just wanted to drop a quick note about Anthony Robbins Unleash the Power Within Conference.
The other day I received a phone call from a close friend of mine telling me to check my email ASAP. When I did I saw a congratulation letter for the November 2010 Anthony Robbins - Unleash the Power Within conference. After reading the letter a couple of times I then realized it was for VIP seating also.
I have been following Anthony Robbins for some time now and have purchased 1 of his programs, listened to countless audios and videos of him and also read a couple of his books. I have always wanted to go to one of his conferences but they was always priced out of my reach.
In early July of this year I was going through my mid life crisis because I was turning 40 in August. I thought to myself something has to change and in a big way because the path I am on is not working out the way I thought it would. I mean I have a decent job and make OK money but being OK with 6 children just doesn't cut it in these day or any other days in matter of fact.

As you already know Mooresuccessful is a growing company about internet marketing and personal development so going to the Anthony Robbins conference will only give me more confidence and better material for everyone else.

Kontera: What are those double blue lines?
If you’re just going to my website then you know that I am experimenting with a couple of Internet marketing strategies. One of the first ones I am focusing on is Google ad sense. The other one I am starting to experiment with is Kontera.
What’s Kontera and those double blue lines you ask. Well not to go
into all the technical mumbo jumbo and to keep it simple Kontera is a
way to advertise different products on your website or blog by placing a little piece of code in it.
Kontera takes the information on your Internet blog or website and
analyzes the content on it. From there formula they pick out certain
words on the website or blog and place a double underline on them.
When a viewer hovers over the double blue lines an ad is shown. The ads come in different formats such as links, videos, and flash. If the
viewer clicks on the ad to get more information then like Joel Comm
always say, they drop a little bit of change inside your money jar.
One of the downsides of Kontera is that you can’t place the double lines on words that you want. As I said before Kontera analyze the information on your site and place them where they feel relevant.
Now just using this one method is not going to make you rich but it is
another stream of income.
The one of the things I like about Kontera is that it is Google ad sense friendly meaning you can have both of them on one web page or blog.

Stop Chasing the Money and Build an Internet Business
I just received an email newsletter and I had to laugh because it was so true. It was talking about how these so called “Internet gurus” are selling people get quick rich internet marketing dreams. They rather have them chasing the money instead of building a true internet business.
Now I am not going to lie I did fall for a couple of products because curiosity and being money hungry got the best of me, but time after time after spending dollar after dollar I kept on coming up with the same disappointing results.
After looking hard at why I could not achieve the results I wanted there was one common factor and that was me. It was bothersome to hear about some guy who never really used the internet all of a sudden making $10,000 a month after following some internet guru’s formula.
Now if you didn’t know I have been on the internet since the BBS days, before AOL and Compuserv. Wow I probably dated myself with that remark but that is how long I have been online. I have created a couple of websites and have a college degree and certifications in computer networking. I can even breakdown and build a computer with my eyes closed and time after time I just kept hearing how this people with no skills at all are raking in big money marketing on the internet.
It reminded me of my network marketing days where you would hear stories of people coming into the business and reaching the top position in 90 days. They never really told you that this person might have come from a sales background or was in another company and moved to the current company and took most of his down line with them. Now do not get me wrong I think network marketing is a great business model but at the time when I was involved just didn’t work out for me.
The main reason why I could not achieve the success that I wanted was because I kept on chasing the next big thing. You know what I mean a product comes out and says all you have to do is be able to click a mouse and your financial worries will be over. The next week in my inbox I am getting the newest way to create a 5 figure monthly business by quadrupling your traffic.
A great example of this is right now is to research a niche, buy a domain name, install Word Press template and the entire plug ins, and watch the money come rolling in. This is the basic formula to what a lot of internet marketers product is about. Does it work? I couldn’t tell you because my spidey senses are always tingling with every email that I open up.
Now don’t get me wrong in my research I did find a lot of gold nuggets. There are also a lot of real people making great money on the internet but they would be the first to tell you that you are not going to get rich overnight. It takes time to build your business but once you have it you have it for life.
I just want to say thank you to all the true Internet Marketers out there that it’s not always about making money but also helping other people. It reminds me of a quote by Zig Ziglar that goes something like no one is going to care about you or take you serious until they know you really care about them.
So the bottom line is to stop chasing the money and start building a true internet business
